Our hardwood modular deck of is made from Cumaru wood slats consisting of pre-assembled slats width 10 cm and thickness 2 cm.
Each module is 62cm x 200 cm, and is cut during the installation to make any necessary adjustments.
Cumaru, a beautiful hardwood very similar to Ipe, has its own characteristic grain pattern. and all our Cumaru decking is KD (kiln-dried) to 16% M.C. for increased stability. It is pre-grooved for easy assembly with EBTY hidden deck fasteners and it has a reversible profile - smooth one face and with small anti-slip grooves on the other - providing you the option to choose your preferred surface - as well as to make attractive designs.
Cumaru (also known as Dipteryx Odorata, Almendrillo, Brazilian Teak, Tonka, and Tonquin Bean) is one of the finest quality hardwoods available that features a golden tan to a reddish brown color with some dark grain accents throughout the wood. Cumaru is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attack.
