There are allsorts of designs from wood and steel to GRP and from sectional to “up and over” but nothing ticks every box in terms of aesthetics, ease of use, security and space saving design like aluminium profile roller doors. That is why Crown only recommend this solution and we proudly offer three product families thereby providing the perfect solution every time.

Their skills and practical understanding of this material are reflected in the overall design and quality of the finished product. Manufactured to stringent quality control guidelines, our teak products are constructed using traditional dowelled mortise and tenon joinery with solid brass or stainless steel fittings and fixings. Naturally rich in oleoresin, teak is highly resistant to warping and rotting and will last for many years without any special treatment.

Our Weaves

Manufactured using optimum performance Reflex foam which consistently retains its shape. The twin piped box design fabric casing is made from 100% Acrylic which is UV stabilised to prevent colours fading and can be hand washed at 30 degrees. The Woven cushion fabric is water proof, however we do not recommend they be left outside for prolonged periods of time.

Why aluminium? Many manufacturers offer garage doors made of steel. But steel is heavy and not rust-proof. As an example: it is often hard to operate up-and-over garage doors by hand. Anyone who looks for a specific solution for his garage will actually choose an automatic garage door made of high-quality aluminium. Aluminium is corrosion-free and the surface is covered additionally by an outstanding thick-layer stove enamel. Therefore re-coating will never be necessary.

What do I have to take into consideration when buying a garage door? Are there legal regulations? All garage doors supplied and fitted by Crown surpass the legally required DIN-EN standards. When installing garage doors the safety features according to EU Standard 13241-1 must be observed. All our doors are certified by TÜV and are produced according to all the current EU standards. Everything is tested and certified.

The opening for my garage is not a standard size. Can I still install an Crown garage door? The Crown aluminium garage doors are really custom-made. That means that your door will be produced exactly to the mm, to fit your required dimensions. There are no standard sizes, but there is only one door that has been produced specially for you.

What safety measures do you include? The safe operation is the most important thing for Crown garage doors. The automatic obstacle detection avoids possible accidents before they happen. So you protect people, door and objects. All three door systems are produced according to the safety features of EU Standard 13241-1.

Which operation options are available? The electric motor is naturally a comfortable feature in the Crown garage doors. An additional radio remote control for the garage doors is one of the most convenient things you can imagine. An additional emergency release guarantees that a trapped person can open the door from inside in case of power failure.

Important notes on colour
Colours shown on this website do not match those of the finished paint colours. If you are unsure of your colour choice please ask Crown for a sample. Colour references quoted are the nearest standard RAL or BS references to the colours used. They will not be an exact match and are intended as a guide only.
Coloured guide rails are supplied as standard, however they may not match the slat colour. The manufacturing process for the slat profile results in a textured finish, whilst all other coloured items (guides, bottom slats, optional fascias and vision panels) are supplied in a satin finish so we cannot guarantee an exact match.

Optional Extras

Vision Slats
Vision slats in your door allow natural light into your garage. Available with or without glazing.


Remote Control Keypad
The remote control key and pad provides you with a secure, alternative option for controlling your door. Suitable for external installation, this wireless controller offers convenience without compromising your security.


Battery Back Up
A battery backup offers added peace of mind and convenience. All doors are supplied with a manual override as standard but by choosing a battery backup you can continue to operate your door with the remote control in the event of a power failure.
For SecureGlide Excell, if the garage door is the only means of entry to the garage a battery backup will be required.


Low level external override kit
The low level external override kit enables the door to be opened manually in emergencies from both the inside and outside of the garage. If the garage door is the only means of entry you will require either the battery backup or the low level external override kit.


Full Cassette box
A full box completely conceals the roll. This option allows the doors to be fitted outside the garage. Boxes are supplied in white or brown as standard. They can also be supplied in any of the plain colour finishes for an additional surcharge.
